Zasha Marie Rodriguez is a senior partner at GLG, where she has been an integral asset since joining the firm in 2011. Rising through the ranks, she earned the titles of Senior Associate in September 2013 and Partner in April 2017.

Specializing in civil defense, Zasha is a leader in prosecuting insurance fraud claims, notably securing the largest fraud-related settlement in Allstate Insurance Company’s history in collaboration with managing partner Frank Goldstein.

As the manager of GLG’s property division, Zasha leads a dynamic team that handles matters from pre-suit investigations to trial. Under her leadership, her team has achieved notable success, including winning summary judgments, arbitrations, and multiple defense verdicts in trial, demonstrating their aggressive defense on behalf of clients.

With a keen understanding of trial strategy and a detail-oriented approach to case preparation, Zasha has consistently delivered favorable outcomes for her clients. She approaches each trial with tenacity, skillfully presenting compelling arguments and leveraging her extensive experience to secure favorable verdicts. Her commitment to excellence and her unwavering advocacy makes her a force in the courtroom and a trusted advocate for her clients.

Prior to her tenure at GLG, Zasha served as an Assistant Public Defender in the 17th Circuit Court, where she earned recognition for her adept handling of first-degree felonies, including receiving the 2009 Hat Trick Award from the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers for securing not guilty verdicts in three consecutive felony jury trials.

Zasha is a sought-after speaker at esteemed events and conferences, both locally and nationally, including FIFEC, IASIU, and FCDN. She has been invited to present on various topics by leading insurers such as Allstate, Ocean Harbor, and American Integrity.

Zasha holds a Bachelor of Science from Stetson University and a Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University.

Beyond her professional achievements at GLG, Zasha is deeply committed to community service, having served as a board member for organizations like Honor Flight and Covenant House. Together with GLG, she actively supports charitable endeavors such as Puzzle Peace, The Pantry Broward County, and Saving Ocean Life.
