Kelsey P. Hayden, Esq.

Partner

Kelsey Hayden has been a pivotal member of GLG since joining the firm in 2017. As a Partner at GLG, Kelsey focuses on civil defense, encompassing a wide range of insurance claims, including auto glass, personal injury protection (PIP), bodily injury, uninsured motorist claims, and SIU investigations.

Kelsey has extensive litigation experience, she has conducted hundreds of Examinations Under Oath (EUOs) and depositions, and has prevailed on countless complex dispositive motions, pre-trial motions, and motions for attorneys’ fees. Her meticulous investigatory efforts and strategic litigation tactics have consistently led to withdrawn claims, voluntary dismissals, and recoupment of legal fees for clients.

As manager of GLG’s auto glass department, Kelsey represents some of GLG’s largest clients, overseeing both litigation and pre-litigation sectors. She mentors and trains a team of talented associates and staff, fostering an environment where innovation and collaboration thrive. Under her guidance, GLG’s auto glass department has a reputation for excellence and achieving successful results.

Kelsey has had the privilege of sharing her knowledge and experience at local and national conferences, including FIFEC (2023 and 2024), and the Southern California Fraud Investigators Association (2021), where she spoke on topics such as EUOs, insurance fraud, and auto glass claims.

Kelsey is a proud graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where she was an editor of the International & Comparative Law Review, a fellow in the Human Rights Clinic, and graduated with honors. After law school, Kelsey practiced law in Rhode Island, where she served two terms as a law clerk to the Rhode Island Superior Court and the Rhode Island Supreme Court. In these roles, she advised both trial and appellate courts on complex legal issues, and drafted published decisions that serve as binding legal precedent in Rhode Island. She remains a member in good standing of the Rhode Island Bar Association.

Outside of her legal practice, Kelsey is a passionate advocate for human rights. She has delivered lectures and seminars on human rights violations within the United States and abroad, lobbied state legislatures for enhanced statutory protections for juvenile rights, and co-authored reports submitted to the United Nations Human Rights Committee and the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
