Ana Beatriz Bruges Casanova is an Associate at Goldstein Law Group and a member of GLG’s Declaratory Action Team, where she focuses her practice on civil litigation, insurance coverage disputes, and fraud investigations. Her practice includes investigating and evaluating complex insurance claims, analyzing factual and evidentiary records, identifying potential coverage and fraud-related concerns, drafting declaratory judgment actions, and conducting Examinations Under Oath.

Born in Colombia, Ana immigrated to the United States and developed an early interest in the legal profession. Before becoming an attorney, Ana spent approximately four years working as a paralegal, gaining substantial experience in both litigation and pre-litigation matters. During this time, she worked on a broad range of matters, including property, personal injury, commercial litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, mediations, appeals, discovery, and trial preparation.

Ana earned her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, where she was a member of the Trial Team and received the Best Advocate Award. She was also the recipient of the Mary Russimanno Scholarship and Substantial Promise Scholarship and was named to the Dean’s List for multiple semesters. Prior to law school, Ana graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication. She also earned an associate in arts degree from Broward College and completed Paralegal Studies at the University of Miami.

Ana is licensed to practice law in Florida and is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar. Her commitment to service extends beyond her legal practice. She has provided pro bono service with the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in Miami-Dade County and was selected to serve as a Volunteer Advocate with the State of Florida Guardian Ad Litem Program, supporting efforts to protect the best interests of children involved in dependency proceedings.

Ana has also volunteered with Global Empowerment Mission in connection with humanitarian and disaster relief initiatives. In addition, she worked with It’s4The Kids Foundation, where she developed and presented an initiative addressing food insecurity among children in La Guajira, Colombia. The proposal was approved and received funding that provided meals to more than 100 children for over a month.
