Practice Partner - Bodily Injury Department

Victoria Armstrong is a practice partner in the bodily injury department. She brings over a decade of experience in insurance defense to GLG. She focuses her practice in the areas of first and third-party automobile liability defense and insurance coverage disputes. She has handled claims from pre-suit through mediation and trial. Her experience also includes handling of pre-suit claims, including conducting Examinations Under Oath and working with insurance SIU departments developing strategies for determining fraud by medical providers. She was named to Best Lawyers Ones to Watch in America Personal Injury Litigation Defendants: 2024 and 2025.

Her career began as an Assistant State Attorney for the Eighth Judicial Circuit. She worked in the Domestic Violence Unit and Traffic Unit before being assigned to the Felony Crimes Unit. Victoria gained valuable trial experience; she first-chaired over 25 trial to jury verdict in her three years with the State Attorney’s Office.

Born in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario before moving to Florida to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer. She gradated cum laude from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2012. She is licensed to practice law in Florida, the Middle District of Florida and the Northern District of Florida.

When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son and daughter, cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars and spending time at the baseball field.
